2022-2023 Capital Campaign: Eliza Hope’s Forever Home
It’s been 5 years since the Eliza Hope Foundation opened the doors of the Eliza Hope Therapy Center and started serving children and families affected by autism. Even through COVID, we have experienced exponential growth and are now serving over 400 families in Hampton Roads through our Hope Stars Leagues, Jumpstart Social Skills program, and therapies offered at the Eliza Hope Therapy Center.
But we know there is so much more work to be done to support the local autism community. We are outgrowing the space we have been renting since the beginning and have big plans to add additional programs like ADOS testing, after-school social skills, and a greater variety of ABA providers.
In order to ensure long term success and stability, we have launched a capital campaign to raise funds to help us buy a building to serve as the permanent home of the Eliza Hope Foundation. We are considering a building that will double the square footage we currently have, and allow us to host more therapy, activities, and services for every family who needs access to them for years to come.
