It’s almost time for the 3rd annual Skate-A-Thon to support the Eliza Hope Foundation! On March 8th, 2024 The McDonald Family and our beloved Board Member Dr. Michael Denk will attempt to skate 100 OR MORE laps in a one hour period at the Iceland Family Skate Center in Virginia Beach. They are skating to raise awareness and support for the Eliza Hope Foundation, a grassroots nonprofit that supports children and families affected by autism in Hampton Roads.
To support Team McDonald you can simply:
-Donate any amount on this page
-Purchase a ticket to attend the Skate-A-Thon and cheer our skaters on (see ** below for details)
**No ticket purchase is required to attend the Skate-A-Thon! A ticket purchase is only necessary if you would like to skate at the public skating session after the Skate-A-Thon (starting at 7:30pm), enjoy a piece of pizza, and hot chocolate (skate rental, skate time, pizza and hot chocolate included with ticket purchase). Tickets may also be purchased on site the day of the Skate-A-Thon.
