Hi, friends!
As you may have heard, our son Liam has had the privilege of participating in an incredible program called Hope Stars over the past year. Hope Stars is offered by the Eliza Hope Foundation and aims to give children with autism spectrum disorders opportunities to play, create, and imagine in their own way through sports, art, and more. Through Hope Stars, children on the autism spectrum can earn trophies, completion certificates, medals and the like, just like their neurotypical peers and siblings. Watching Liam become part of a team has been a true blessing for our family.
This summer, the Hope Stars will be participating in a program focused on food! They will explore the food pyramid in many engaging and interactive ways, including a fun-filled nutrition workshop, a behind the scenes tour of Publix, and culminating in a cooking class at the Publix Aprons School of Cooking in Winter Park.
Your donation helps make this program possible for every family in need!$25 sponsors one child for the Publix Aprons cooking class$45 sponsors one child for all three sessions$50 sponsors one child, plus their caregiver, for the Publix Aprons cooking class$600 covers the cost of the cooking class for Team Hope Stars!
All our love,The McGill Family
